About The Position

This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in various HR functions and contribute to the overall success of the department. Responsibilities: Support day-to-day HR operations and serve as a point of contact for employee inquiries Maintain and update HRIS records, personnel files, and organizational charts Respond to employee questions regarding HR policies, procedures, and benefits Process semi-monthly payroll, timekeeping audits, and managing attendance records Coordinate the onboarding process for new hires, including paperwork and system access Track and maintain data related to leaves of absence, performance evaluations, and training Provide administrative support for performance reviews and other HR programs Reconcile benefit statements with all providers Assist with planning employee events, wellness initiatives, and internal communications Create monthly newsletters and birthday/anniversary announcements Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and firm policies Provide general administrative support to the HR team, including calendar management, reporting, filing, and data entry Perform other duties as assigned to support the department and firm Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an HR support role, preferably in a legal or professional services environment Payroll processing experience is a plus Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems preferred Excellent communication, organizational, and interpersonal skills Ability to handle confidential information with discretion and professionalism Strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities Why KD? Actual compensation will be determined based on location, as well as the candidate’s experience, skills, and job-related qualifications. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field preferred
  • Minimum of 2+ years of experience in an HR support role, preferably in a legal or professional services environment
