About The Position

The HR Assistant supports Human Resources and daily office operations by coordinating employee programs, managing administrative tasks, and assisting with HR processes. This role requires strong organization, attention to detail, and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while delivering excellent internal customer service.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or 2+ years of HR or administrative experience.
  • Strong organization and multitasking abilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication.
  • Professional, discreet, and detail-oriented.
  • Customer-service mindset.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint).
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with onboarding (supplies, orientation, apparel).
  • Screen applicants, schedule interviews, and post job openings.
  • Maintain HR records, policies, and employee data.
  • Review timesheets and support benefits administration.
  • Ensure confidentiality and data privacy compliance.
  • Coordinate employee programs (apparel, greeting cards, sympathy flowers).
  • Assist with company events, luncheons, and catering.
  • Support internal communications, including newsletters.
  • Help manage ticket distributions and other engagement initiatives.
  • Manage phone lines, mail, and general inquiries.
  • Order and maintain office and kitchen supplies.
  • Coordinate office repairs and vendor services (cleaning, landscaping, security).
  • Maintain service contracts, pricing, and renewals.
  • Support building access (key fobs) and office systems.
  • Partner with IT on equipment and access needs.
  • Provide general support to staff, visitors, and leadership.
