About The Position

The Human Resources Specialist supports day‑to‑day HR operations while partnering closely with HR leadership to ensure a positive and compliant employee experience. This role focuses on HR administration, onboarding, employee records, recruiting support, and employee relations. The ideal candidate is organized, detail‑oriented, and comfortable serving as a frontline HR resource.

Requirements

  • Associate degree in Business Administration or related field (HR focus preferred)
  • 2+ years of experience in an HR coordinator, HR assistant, or administrative role
  • Experience with HRIS and ATS systems (Paycom preferred)

Nice To Haves

  • HR certifications (SHRM‑CP, PHR) are a plus

Responsibilities

  • Support HR leadership with daily HR operations and employee inquiries
  • Maintain accurate and confidential employee records in HRIS and personnel files
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and employment regulations
  • Prepare and distribute HR reports and documentation
  • Assist with recruiting activities including candidate prescreening, interview coordination, and pre‑employment checks
  • Coordinate onboarding and new‑hire orientation
  • Create and maintain new employee files and documentation
  • Support employee separation and termination procedures as needed
  • Educate employees on HR policies, procedures, and benefits
  • Support performance management processes
  • Partner with payroll, benefits, and other departments
  • Coordinate HR meetings, trainings, and company events
  • Assist with special HR projects and initiatives
