About The Position

FEDITC is seeking an HR Representative in the San Antonio area. The HR Representative supports the company’s growing workforce by managing core human resources functions that align with business and compliance objectives. This role serves as a key point of contact for employees, handling employee relations, benefits administration, onboarding and offboarding, training coordination, and HR reporting, while ensuring adherence to federal employment laws and company standards. Working in a hybrid capacity in the San Antonio area, the HR Representative plays a vital role in maintaining accurate records, supporting payroll and audits, and fostering a positive, compliant, and inclusive workplace that directly supports FEDITC’s mission-critical work for the DoD and intelligence community. This is a hybrid position.

Requirements

  • A United States Citizenship is required to be considered for this position.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (Associate degree accepted with relevant experience).
  • 3+ years of experience in human resources or HR administration roles.
  • Strong understanding of HR Compliance benefits administration, employee relations, and compliance.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and experience with HRIS systems.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills with attention to detail.
  • Strong attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or equivalent certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement HR strategies aligned with business objectives.
  • Serve as a point of contact for addressing grievances and resolving issues.
  • Maintain accurate employee records while ensuring confidentiality and compliance with legal standards such as ADA, EEOC, and DOL.
  • Assist benefits programs, including open enrollment, and assist employees with benefits inquiries.
  • Assist with onboarding and offboarding processes, including conducting orientations and exit interviews.
  • Organize and implement training and development programs based on organizational needs.
  • Prepare HR reports, including EEOC-1 and Vets 4212, and support audits and compliance activities.
  • Backup support for payroll processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with company standards.
