About The Position

The Human Resource (HR) Planning Specialist II supports the design, implementation, and execution of HR planning and operational processes to ensure efficient workforce management aligned with business and production needs. This role focuses on organizational structure support, headcount and labor cost management, HR system operations, and expatriate coordination. The Specialist II works closely with HR leadership, operations, and headquarters partners to provide accurate data, analysis, and operational support while contributing to continuous improvement initiatives across HR planning functions.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Management, or a related field
  • 3+ years of relevant experience in Human Resources, HR Planning, Workforce Planning, or HR Operations
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret workforce and labor cost data
  • High proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including pivot tables, data analysis, and chart creation
  • Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and data accuracy
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to communicate data clearly to leadership
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
  • Proactive problem-solving mindset with the ability to support leadership and business needs
  • Bilingual proficiency in Korean and English required

Nice To Haves

  • Experience supporting headcount planning, labor cost analysis, or organizational structure management preferred
  • Hands-on experience managing or supporting performance evaluation systems (SuccessFactors preferred)
  • Experience working in a manufacturing, production, or high-growth operational environment preferred
  • Exposure to expatriate or global mobility support preferred

Responsibilities

  • Support the creation, restructuring, promotion, and dissolution of teams and organizational units, including Battery process teams
  • Update workforce plans and manage personnel movement in response to production volume and operational changes
  • Conduct headcount alignment simulations for Operators, Technicians, Crew Leaders, and Supervisors to ensure optimal staffing levels
  • Perform labor cost analysis and provide data-driven insights for leadership
  • Implement and support HR systems related to performance evaluation, promotions, compensation, and talent development
  • Support recruitment planning by role and position, including direct recruitment support for specialized roles
  • Prepare and maintain monthly HR reports, dashboards, and workforce metrics for leadership review
  • Coordinate expatriate assignments, returns, transfers, extensions, and headcount tracking for employees from LG HQ, Indonesia, and HMG
  • Support E-visa and L-visa processes in coordination with internal stakeholders and external partners
  • Maintain accurate expatriate records and ensure compliance with company policies
  • Execute tasks and projects assigned by the President, HR leadership, or senior stakeholders
  • Respond to ad-hoc data requests and reporting needs from Headquarters and North America teams
  • Perform other duties as assigned
