The HR Intern will support the entire Human Resources department, gaining exposure to various areas through projects in benefits, compensation, and the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), but with a main focus on recruiting Coordinate and schedule interviews for entry level requisitions including escorting on-site interviews Conduct initial phone screens to assess candidate qualifications Maintain and update applicant tracking system (ATS) with candidate information and status updates Post job openings across various platforms and monitor applications Assist with ongoing and new and ad hoc HR projects, focusing on benefits, compensation, training, and HRIS. Enter data and perform audits in the HRIS system. Serve as the primary contact for other Calamos interns, addressing questions and distributing relevant information. Help coordinate events for the internship program. Perform other duties as assigned. Currently enrolled (as a rising junior or senior) in a Bachelor's degree or MBA program. Demonstrated challenging curriculum with a minimum 3.0 GPA. High level of professionalism and discretion in handling confidential information. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
