Bay State Community Services (BSCS) is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Human Resources Coordinator to join our HR team. The Human Resources Coordinator plays a key role in supporting daily HR operations, ensuring a smooth and positive experience for employees, applicants, and internal partners. This position is ideal for someone who is organized, resourceful, and eager to learn and grow within the HR field.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, HR Management, Public Administration, etc preferred
  • A minimum of 3 years of professional experience in Human Resources required
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills
  • Must be proficient in MS Word, Outlook, and HRIS platform like Paylocity
  • Must be a self starter with high energy level and ability to multi-task and re-prioritize based on needs of the programs that we serve
  • Strong customer service focus and ability to deliver responses based on customer needs
  • Ability to maintain strict confidentiality a must
  • Valid MA driver’s license with acceptable driving record and current proof of insurance
  • Acceptable CORI and SORI background record check as required by program

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or desire to work in a non-profit environment a plus

Responsibilities

  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with HR policies and regulations
  • Support HR projects, trainings, and process improvements
  • Respond to employee inquiries and provide timely, professional support
  • Process Employee Tuition Assistance Requests
  • Organize and Record All Staffing Trainings and Certification Completions
