The Human Resources Coordinator supports the daily functions of the HR department, including onboarding, employee relations, benefits administration, and compliance. This role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to handle sensitive information confidentially. This role is hybrid, 3 days onsite required weekly.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with coordinating onboarding process for new hires, review policies, ensuring all necessary new hire paperwork and pre-employment testing is completed.
  • Assist scheduling employees for required training and coordinating work assignments.
  • Maintain employee data using multiple HRIS data systems and ensure data integrity. Generate employee metric reports, as needed.
  • Assist with benefit enrollment, changes and terminations.
  • Provide support during open enrollment and assist employees with benefits-related questions.
  • Serve as point of contact for employee inquiries regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs.
  • Ensure all HR records and files are maintained accurately and in compliance with company policies and legal requirements.
  • Provide assistance with various HR programs, such as FMLA, Worker’s Compensation and Unemployment Compensation, as needed.
  • Support staff schedules for various JEVS programmatic divisions.
  • Support various HR projects and initiatives.
  • Comply with JEVS Human Services policies and procedure and adhere to the code of conduct.
  • Perform other relevant duties as assigned.
