About The Position

Provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department to ensure compliance, efficiency, and positive employee experience. Responsible for demonstrating competence in core HR functions, including records management, payroll support, and employee relations.

Requirements

  • High School diploma or equivalent (Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in HR or related field preferred).
  • Effective organizational, oral, and written communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; experience with HRIS systems preferred.
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to prioritize tasks.
  • Must be able to communicate effectively.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative assistance to the HR department.
  • Coordinate meetings, events, and HR projects.
  • Maintain HR inventory and supplies.
  • Assist with setup for meetings and events.
  • Keep up to date with HR trends and best practices.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all HR-related information and employee data at all times.
  • Prepare onboarding materials and mailings for new hires.
  • Maintain accurate digital and physical employee records.
  • Assist in performing HR file audits to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Support payroll processing and assist in resolving payroll-related issues.
  • Support internal and external HR-related inquiries or requests.
  • Assist in ensuring compliance with labor laws, company policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Help organize employee training sessions and maintain training records.
  • Draft letters, memos, and other HR-related correspondence.
  • Enter and update employee information in HR systems and generate basic reports as needed.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
