About The Position

The HR Assistant provides high-quality administrative support across the HR function, working closely with HR Partners, Payroll, the Chief Human Resources Officer (CHRO), and the Talent Acquisition Partner. This role helps keep HR operations running smoothly by coordinating schedules, maintaining accurate records, supporting hiring logistics, and ensuring confidential information is handled with care. The HR Assistant supports the Talent Acquisition Partner and HR Partners by handling coordination, documentation, and system tasks. Works independently on daily tasks, help employees where needed, exercise judgement, and enforce company policies and practices.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in a Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Six months of general office/clerical experience.
  • Strong customer-service mindset and ability to operate as the HR department’s front door—triaging requests, setting expectations, and delivering timely follow-through.
  • Ability to build and maintain organized systems, such as trackers, templates, checklists, standard work, create consistency, reduce errors, and strengthen day-to-day HR operations.
  • Advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook) and standard office equipment.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with excellent spelling, grammar, and document formatting.
  • Exceptional organizational and time-management skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple tasks and deadlines.
  • Demonstrated ability to exercise sound judgment, discretion, and maintain confidentiality.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build collaborative, professional relationships at all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision in a fast-paced environment.
  • High attention to detail and accuracy in all work products.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field.
  • Familiarity with HR processes such as onboarding, personnel file maintenance, and basic compliance practices.
  • Experience with Workday and electronic document management.

Responsibilities

  • Provide daily administrative support to HR Partners, Payroll and the CHRO.
  • Support HR projects and initiatives by organizing timelines, task lists, and documentation.
  • Help respond to employee inquiries and/or by routing questions to the appropriate HR role.
  • Work closely with the Talent Acquisition Partner to coordinate interview calendars and schedules, conference rooms/Virtual links, itineraries, and logistics-only communications to candidates and interview teams.
  • Maintain HR files and records (electronic and/or paper) with accuracy, confidentiality, and retention compliance.
  • Provide a high level of service to employees and leaders, responding to inquiries professionally and discreetly.
  • Ensure requests are handled timely, routed appropriately, and documented when needed.
  • Assists with general human resource functions and activities.
  • Assists and prioritize work assignments from multiple staff in order to meet deadlines.
  • Assist with Verification of Employment (VOE) documents for current and past employees.
  • Maintains active and terminated personnel files while completing checklists.
