About The Position

The HR Assistant – Corporate Office provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources department while serving as the primary HR support contact for the Malibu Jack’s Elizabethtown location. This role supports park managers with day-to-day HR processes, documentation, and system navigation while ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures. The position is based in the corporate office with occasional travel to the assigned park location as needed.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of HR or administrative support experience
  • Experience supporting hiring, onboarding, and employee documentation
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to handle confidential information professionally
  • Strong communication skills and ability to support managers
  • Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods

Nice To Haves

  • Experience using HRIS systems (Paycor preferred)
  • Experience supporting multi-location operations
  • Familiarity with basic employment compliance requirements

Responsibilities

  • Support park managers with employee corrective action documentation
  • Assist managers in understanding and following company policies and procedures
  • Answer routine HR questions and escalate complex issues to HR leadership
  • Maintain accurate and compliant HR documentation for the assigned location
  • Coordinate hiring activities, including job postings, applicant tracking, and background checks
  • Assist with new hire onboarding and I-9 verification
  • Ensure employee information is accurately entered and maintained in Paycor
  • Maintain employee files and HR records
  • Track training completion, acknowledgments, and required documentation
  • Assist with preparing HR letters, forms, and internal communications
  • Support compliance-related documentation and audits
  • Assist with unemployment claims, workers’ compensation documentation, and incident reporting
  • Ensure HR records comply with federal, state, and company requirements
  • Provide administrative support to corporate HR leadership
  • Assist with HR projects, reporting, and process improvements
  • Schedule interviews, meetings, and training sessions
