About The Position

We are seeking a knowledgeable and detail-oriented HRIS Specialist to join our team.   This position provides advanced functional support for HCM, acting as a key resource for troubleshooting system issues and responding to escalated user inquiries. Responsibilities include performing data audits, maintaining data integrity, and creating and using standard reports to ensure accuracy, and supporting configuration changes. The HRIS Specialist collaborates with HR teams, technology teams, while also assisting with testing of software updates and new functionality. The ideal candidate has hands-on experience with Oracle -PeopleSoft or Workday HCM, strong analytical and problem-solving skills, and the ability to communicate effectively to non-technical users.This position, HRIS Specialist I (Job Requisition #54531), is open to all State employees and external applicants. Please Note: This position is being recruited at multiple levels. Requirements

  • Three (3) or more years of experience in human resources or an administrative role that includes experience working within an HRIS system
  • hands-on experience with Oracle -PeopleSoft or Workday HCM
  • strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • the ability to communicate effectively to non-technical users

Nice To Haves

  • Certification, training, or education in accounting, computer science, business management, human resources, or related field.
  • Experience with PeopleSoft.
