About The Position

The HRIS Analyst provides support, maintenance, and development for the human resources management system in addition to other systems supported or utilized by the HR team. The HRIS Analyst serves as a technical point of contact and assists all users by ensuring data and business process integrity, as well as creating and maintaining training documentation for current processes and future improvement and enhancements. Assists with the general day-to-day functions of the HR System (Workday) including (but not limited to) business process configuration/improvement, data entry, report creation and reporting, data analysis, user help, and communications. Production Support Supports the HRIS system (Workday) full suite of modules including data integrity and business processes for HCM, Time Tracking, Absence, Benefits, Payroll, Finance, Talent and Performance, and Advanced Compensation. Designs, delivers, and supports HRIS (Workday) integrations. Creates test scripts, documents test scenarios, and performs testing activities of HR systems during upgrades or launch of new features. Researches and resolves issues, flaws, and unexpected results, and recommends alternate methods to meet client needs. Recommends process improvements. Understands HRIS protocols and seeks guidance on variations from established protocols. In conjunction with HRIS leadership and HR stakeholers, develops user procedures and guidelines. Trains and coaches new and current users on procedures, best practices, and new functionality. Projects and Process Improvement Works with key stakeholders (HR business partners, payroll, benefits team, etc.) to identify and refine business requirements for HR systems by utilizing project management skills to develop solutions based on needs. Acts as key team member in system implementation (Workday) projects. Duties will include data gathering, workbook completion, User Acceptance Testing (UAT), data uploads, and template builds to ensure system is ready for deployment. Assists with and in some cases leads upgrades for the system (Workday), including the change management process, training, and communication plans. Reporting and Compliance Understands HR department strategic objectives, business processes, reporting and analysis needs, and translates into requirements for and/or configuration of the HRIS application to meet these needs. In accordance with Senior Management level business needs, develops and delivers enhanced reporting tools such as automated reports and dashboards. Maintains the integrity and mapping of employee data; assists in development and documentation of consistent and appropriate data mapping structures. Miscellaneous Works to continuously refine processes, workflows, and system flows based on need. Participates in semi-annual system upgrades and off cycle fixes. Executes data conversion and data validation activities, resolves issues and defects reported, monitors usage and overall compliance of system. Continually increases personal knowledge and maintains individual development through training and research Understands Human Resources Policies and Procedures. Participates in Human Resources initiatives and projects as needed. Performs any and all other duties as necessary and as assigned by manager for the efficient running of the Department and Organization.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, HR or a related field
  • 4-6 years of related professional experience
  • 2-3 years of Workday business process & configuration responsibility and Workday reporting experience required
  • Knowledge of requirement gathering techniques, project management, and HRIS systems development methodologies
  • Robust analytical skills; knowledge of configuration, testing and implementation techniques
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Excellent troubleshooting and interpersonal skills
  • Works well under pressured time constraints
  • Strong team player
