The Human Resources Information Systems (HRIS) Analyst performs a variety of activities in support of efficient Workday Human Resource Operations at Salisbury University. By optimizing Workday technology and processes, the incumbent will administer consistent, professional and timely assistance. They will assess business needs and challenges, develop and document processes, and complete business transactions in the Workday system. While serving as a primary contact for HCM Workday functions, this individual will screen requests, evaluate historical process, redefine current process, execute processing and data entry tasks and implement creative solutions to ensure operational excellence. This position is expected to collaborate with campus members as we seek to transform the HCM operations at SU. They will serve as the lead on key Workday projects and operational initiatives to define and run the operations and business processes and requirements of the institution. Authority and Accountability This role will report to the head of the HRIS team. Work interactions will include all SU departments, Faculty, Staff along with other USM schools. Our roles are fast-paced and focus on analyzing challenging problems and coming up with solutions to a variety of operational critical issues, all while running various projects and initiatives. They must be very detailed, self-motivated, results oriented, and an excellent communicator.
