Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) seeks an HRIS Analyst to join our team. In this role, you will support and enhance Workday systems and processes across the organization. HRIS is a highly technical discipline, requiring strong analytical skills and the ability to manage interconnected configuration, reporting, security, and integration components that keep operations running reliably. You will work with complex security models, maintain integrations that connect Workday with payroll, recruiting, benefits, and learning systems, and ensure data accuracy and compliance across global environments. Our team builds calculated fields, configures and optimizes business processes, troubleshoots issues, tests Workday releases, and develops new solutions to improve functionality. Analysts operate across HCM, Benefits, Compensation, Recruiting, Learning, Payroll, and more to ensure secure, scalable, and efficient system performance. As an HRIS Analyst, a typical day might include the following: Participate in the design, configuration, testing, and deployment of Workday business processes, calculated fields, integrations, reports, and security components that support HR operations. Understand complex HR and cross functional business requirements and translate them into scalable, compliant Workday solutions. Prepare and maintain system documentation including configuration notes, test plans, troubleshooting guides, and process specifications. Teach system users by providing guidance on Workday functionality, troubleshooting techniques, and best practice design principles.
