Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in Information Technology, Business, or Human Resources (HR) preferred.
  • One to three years of HRIS or three to five years HR generalist or specialist experience required.
  • Computer skills required.
  • Positive attitude and ability to effectively work with a diverse staff required.
  • Excellent interpersonal and organizational skills required.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
  • Accurate spelling ability required.
  • Valid drivers’ license and insurance required.
  • Commitment to supporting a safe and respectful environment is required.

Nice To Haves

  • Systems implementation experience preferred.
  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) preferred.
  • Ultimate software experience required.

Responsibilities

  • Serves as primary support for human resource information system (HRIS) in addition to other systems utilized by the Workforce Development team.
  • Primary liaison with third parties and internal stakeholders to resolve issues.
  • Develops user procedures, guidelines, and documentation, and trains users on new processes and functionality.
  • Lead support for HRIS including researching and resolving HRIS problems, unexpected results or process flaws; performing scheduled activities; and recommending solutions or alternate methods to meet requirements.
  • Proactively researches, suggests, and implements process efficiencies within HR applications.
  • Provides technical and analytical guidance on workflow and effective use of HR applications.
  • Communicates with managers and staff to coordinate system training, installs, and upgrades.
  • Writes, maintains, and supports a variety of reports, including ongoing standard reports.
  • Responsible for the change management process of all HRIS applications.
  • Understands and follows defines technical standards, security and data privacy standards.
  • Leads efforts in tracking issues and resolutions; identifies situations requiring urgent attention.
  • Performs other duties assigned, including supporting the CHAS Health Mission and Core Values.
