About The Position

A growing service-based operations company is seeking an experienced HR Manager to take full ownership of HR functions across a workforce of 130+ employees. This is a hands-on, independent role focused on strengthening recruitment, ensuring compliance, improving internal processes, and driving accountability across the organization. The Ideal Candidate: Strong, confident HR leader who can operate independently Experienced in compliance, employee relations, and workforce management Proven ability to recruit effectively and reduce turnover Detail-oriented with strong follow-through and accountability Comfortable enforcing policies and addressing issues professionally Organized, process-driven, and solutions-oriented Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems (required)

Requirements

  • 3+ years of HR experience in a hands-on, operational role
  • Strong knowledge of HR compliance and employment regulations
  • Proven recruitment experience (high-volume preferred)
  • Ability to work independently and take full ownership
  • Experience with payroll and timekeeping systems (required)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

Responsibilities

  • Own full-cycle recruitment: sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
  • Conduct reference checks and ensure quality hiring decisions
  • Oversee employee relations, write-ups, and disciplinary processes
  • Ensure compliance with employment laws, policies, and regulations
  • Monitor attendance, timekeeping, and payroll accuracy
  • Partner with leadership to improve HR processes and systems
  • Maintain HR documentation, policies, and employee records
  • Promote accountability and professionalism across the workforce
