About The Position

The HR Systems Analyst supports the maintenance, organization, and operation of Human Resources systems to ensure accurate data, effective reporting, and reliable system functionality. Assists with testing functionality, system updates, reporting, workflows, and technical support across multiple HR platforms. Performs work under direction while gaining exposure to more complex system activities and building technical skills over time.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Typically requires 0–2 years of experience supporting HR systems, business systems, reporting, or data-related work.
  • Performs work under direct supervision, handles routine issues and tasks, and refers more complex problems to higher-level staff.
  • Possesses beginning to working knowledge of HR systems, data structures, and reporting concepts.
  • Ability to proficiently work with HR systems and structured data.
  • Working knowledge of reporting and data analysis concepts.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to data accuracy.
  • Ability to follow documented procedures and technical instructions.
  • Basic troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and standard office tools.
  • Clear written and verbal communication skills.
  • Willingness and ability to learn new systems, tools, and technologies over time.
  • Ability to be a self-starter and identify areas of improvement.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience or exposure to SQL, XML, or similar tools preferred.
  • Familiarity with HRIS platforms and enterprise systems.

Responsibilities

  • Assist with the maintenance and day-to-day support of HR systems, including Dayforce HCM, employee engagement platform, and document management system.
  • Support the creation and maintenance of standard and ad hoc reports, queries, and data extracts.
  • Provide data summaries and basic analysis to support operational and decision-making needs.
  • Assist with testing, validating, and documenting system changes, enhancements, and upgrades.
  • Help support system workflows, business rules, and configurations by executing approved changes and validating results.
  • Perform data audits and reconciliations to ensure data accuracy and integrity across systems.
  • Provide first-level support for HR system questions and issues; escalate more complex issues as needed.
  • Assist with file feeds, data transfers, and system outputs used for vendors and internal partners.
  • Support documentation efforts by maintaining job aids, system documentation, and training materials.
  • Collaborate with HR, Payroll, IT, and vendors to support system operations and ongoing improvements.
