About The Position

The HR Support Specialist will support our Columbus warehouse team with a wide range of HR and administrative tasks. This role will be the point person for employee questions, recordkeeping, and day-to-day HR and Safety support.

Requirements

  • 1+ year of experience in an administrative, HR, or office support role (warehouse or industrial setting a plus)
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic understanding of HR processes
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office; HRIS or timekeeping systems a plus
  • Able to maintain confidentiality and work with accuracy and attention to detail

Nice To Haves

  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) a plus but not required

Responsibilities

  • Assist employees with general HR related questions related to Paylocity, company policies, and benefits.
  • Maintain and update employee files, records, and HRIS systems accurately and confidentially.
  • Onboard new hires, including collecting necessary documentation, preparing badges, and scheduling training.
  • Work with Warehouse Manager to coordinate attendance tracking, call-outs, and documentation of absences or incidents.
  • Help organize employee engagement events.
  • Track and replenish HR and Safety related supplies such as PPE, badges, forms, etc.
  • Assist DC Manager a supervisors with safety incident documentation and reporting.
  • Maintain bulletin boards and distribute company notices and updates.
  • Support general administrative tasks such as filing, scanning, copying, and scheduling interviews.
  • All other duties as assigned by management.
