About The Position

The Staffing Representative will support filling long term absences, as well as on-boarding certified substitutes. The Staffing Representative will share in the Staffing Support team coverage. This position is part of the Human Resources Talent Acquisition Team and reports to the Manager of Substitute Staffing.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 3-5 years’ experience in onboarding and customer service preferred
  • Must be extremely detailed and have excellent follow through.
  • Must be able to multi-task in a busy atmosphere.
  • Excellent customer service skills in all scenarios.
  • Strong computer and software skills.
  • Excellent organizational skills and ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • High degree of motivation, responsibility and confidentiality.
  • Independent work ethic with minimal supervision in a fast-paced work environment.
  • Collaborative work approach in a team-oriented capacity.
  • Excellent verbal, written and listening communication skills.
  • Comfortable working in Google Docs and Excel.
  • Accurate record preparation and maintenance.
  • Ability to operate photographic equipment and standard office equipment.
  • Ability to use pertinent software applications.

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Perform onboarding functions (I-9 Verification, Validity background checks, badge picture, communication with applicants, etc.) for certified substitutes.
  • Fills all of the long term needs with substitutes for both classified and certified positions.
  • Works directly with principals, secretaries, and staff daily to problem solve and fill both short- and long-term needs.
  • Assist with daily substitute customer service needs and job placement.
  • Assists with Substitute payroll.
  • Scan necessary paperwork.
  • Maintain spreadsheets for both onboarding and long-term needs.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
