About The Position

Scholfield Honda is looking for a detail-oriented and people-focused HR Specialist to support our recruitment, onboarding, and HR operations. You’ll work closely with the HR Manager, dealership leadership, and our Owner to help build a top-tier team, ensure smooth onboarding, and assist in key HR initiatives.

Requirements

• High school diploma or GED required
• Degree in Human Resources or another related field
• 1+ year of experience in HR or recruiting preferred
• Proficient in Microsoft Office; HRIS experience (Paycom a plus)
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• Upbeat, positive personality with a team-player mindset
• Driven to create a great workplace and eager to help wherever needed

Nice To Haves

• Canva experience is a plus

Responsibilities

• Write and post job ads; manage listings across multiple platforms
• Screen applicants, schedule and conduct interviews
• Prepare offer letters, background checks, and onboarding tasks
• Plan and lead New Hire Orientation
• Assist with new hire benefits communication and enrollment
• Support open enrollment and help answer benefit-related questions
• Conduct stay interviews and help with employee relations follow-up
• Maintain organized HR records and reports
• Assist HR Manager with other tasks
• Assist dealership leadership and Owner on special projects
