About The Position

As Human Resources Specialist you are a critical member of Sitemetric’s People Team, carrying out responsibilities in employee relations, investigations, training, performance management, policy implementation, and employment law compliance. You will work closely with leadership on the People Team and directly report to the Senior Human Resources Business Partner. Overall, the role demands constant professionalism, detail orientation, a proactive approach, and a willingness to jump in to regularly go beyond your responsibilities to ensure the best-possible customer experience for our employees and business leaders. Requirements

  • 2–5 years of human resources experience in an organization with a multi-state footprint. Familiarity with California employment practices highly preferred.
  • Knowledge of employment laws and regulations (FMLA, FLSA, ADA, etc.).
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems (e.g., ADP, Workday, BambooHR).
  • Strong interpersonal, organizational, and communication skills.
  • Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information.

Nice To Haves

  • HR certification (PHR, SHRM-CP) preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Provide day-to-day support to employees and people leaders regarding HR policies, procedures, and programs
  • Support the performance management processes, including annual reviews and goal setting
  • Maintain employee records and ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws
  • Help develop and implement HR policies and procedures to support organizational goals
  • Coordinate and facilitate employee training and development programs
  • Support and conduct employee relations investigations and recommend appropriate actions
  • Document disciplinary actions and support managers in expectation-setting conversations
  • Promote employee engagement and recognition programs
  • Other duties as assigned
