Position Summary The HR Specialist (Hiring & Onboarding) is responsible for managing and executing the Applicant Tracking System, the internship program, and optimizing the HRIS to ensure efficient and consistent HR operations. This role plays a key part in the candidate experience by supporting managers through the hiring process, ensuring both compliance and excellence.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources, business administration, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Experience managing or administering an ATS is preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal, communication, and relationship-building skills.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines simultaneously.
  • Ability to represent the organization professionally with candidates, university partners, and stakeholders.

Responsibilities

  • Create job postings and hiring plans to ensure a positive and seamless candidate experience.
  • Monitor hiring plans to ensure alignment with company standards and consistent practices.
  • Serve as the primary administrator for the Applicant Tracking System (ATS).
  • Monitor and report key hiring metrics to assess hiring efficiency, quality, and help identify training needs.
  • Coordinate and execute onboarding transitions in collaboration with HR and Training teams.
  • Manage the planning, recruitment, and execution of the internship program, including schedules, projects, development sessions, and events.
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for interns and department supervisors.
  • Support and optimize the HRIS by providing user training and identifying opportunities for automation and process improvement.
  • Other duties as assigned.
