About The Position

ACET is seeking an experienced HR Recruiter Specialist specializing in DoD Aerospace programs to support high-impact aviation contracts across CONUS and OCONUS locations. This role will lead full-cycle recruiting efforts for skilled aviation professionals.

The ideal candidate brings a strong background in defense contracting recruitment and hands-on experience with ADP Workforce Now (Recruiting Management module), enabling efficient, compliant, and scalable hiring operations.

Requirements

• 0 / 3+ years recruiting experience in:
• DoD, Aerospace, Aviation Maintenance, or Defense Contracting
• Hands-on experience with:
• ADP Workforce Now (Recruiting module preferred)
• Strong understanding of:
• SCA labor categories and wage determinations

Responsibilities

• Execute full-cycle recruiting for government contract positions, including:
• Preparation: Partner with hiring managers to understand contract requirements, labor categories, and position qualifications
• Sourcing: Identify candidates using LinkedIn, Indeed, ZipRecruiter, clearance-focused platforms (e.g., ClearanceJobs), and internal databases
• Screening: Conduct initial screenings to assess qualifications, experience, and eligibility (including clearance status when applicable)
• Interviewing: Coordinate and support structured interview processes with program and technical teams
• Hiring: Assist in offer development, salary alignment, and candidate closing
• Onboarding: Coordinate onboarding in alignment with contract requirements and compliance standard
• Maintain and continuously refine ADP job description library:
• Structures Tech (SM), Avionics Tech (AVI), QA, Logistics, etc.
• Ensure alignment with:
• SCA wage determinations
• Contract labor categories
• Internal compensation strategy
• Enable rapid scaling (e.g., 50–100+ FTE ramp scenarios)
