CDI is currently hiring for the position of Office Manager located at our facility in Irving, TX. Position Summary: Managing the day-to-day operations of office reception including greeting visitors, purchasing, and managing inventory of office and kitchen supplies, and maintaining vending and coffee service. Ensuring day-to-day facilities are maintained, which may involve verifying that our vendors perform services, maintenance and repairs as expected, and addressing any issues with office equipment, furniture, cleanliness, and security. This may involve submitting maintenance requests.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Human Resources, Office Management, or Administrative Management experience, preferably in a manufacturing environment
  • Knowledge of office management responsibilities, systems, and procedures
  • Excellent time management skills and ability to multitask and prioritize work
  • Attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills and strong organizational and planning skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office and general computer use
  • Proven knowledge of accounting, data, and administrative management practices and procedures
  • Proven knowledge of clerical practices and procedures
  • Proven knowledge of human resources management practices and procedures
  • Proven knowledge of business and management principles
  • Demonstration of CDI’s core values, FAST-EASY-FUN

Responsibilities

  • Point person for maintenance, mailing, supplies, equipment, bills, errands, organizing office operations and procedures and coordinating with IT department on all office equipment
  • Organize and schedule meetings and appointments
  • Responsible for recruiting staff for the office and production team and providing orientation and training to new employees
  • Participate actively in the planning and execution of company events
  • Organize orientation and training of new and current staff members
  • Supporting Human Resources functions such as new employee orientation, benefits administration, employee surveys, performance reviews, recruiting, onboarding, and training support, and assisting with setting up new employee workstations
  • Participating in HR administration, record-keeping, and employee relations, compliance
  • Organization and coordination of company events, special meetings, or initiatives, both at the office and offsite
  • Ad hoc projects as requested by corporate management
  • Implementing or supporting process and policy changes
  • Design and implement filing systems and ensure filing systems are maintained and current
  • Establish and monitor procedures for record-keeping and ensure security, integrity, and confidentiality of data
  • Coordinate schedules, appointments, and bookings
  • Monitor and maintain office supplies inventory as well as review and approve office supply acquisitions
  • Handle customer inquiries and complaints
  • Address and/or elevate internal staff relations
  • Maintain a safe, secure, and pleasant work environment
