About The Position

The Human Resources Manager is responsible for overseeing all HR functions within a fast-paced food distribution center. This role supports daily operations by managing employee relations, recruitment, compliance, and HR processes to ensure a positive and productive work environment.

Requirements

3–5+ years of HR experience, preferably in a warehouse, distribution, or manufacturing environment
Previous leadership or management experience required
Strong knowledge of labor laws and HR best practices
Excellent communication, conflict resolution, and organizational skills
Ability to work in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
Proficient in Microsoft Office and HRIS systems

Nice To Haves

Experience with high-volume recruiting preferred

Responsibilities

Oversee day-to-day HR operations, including employee relations, staffing, and compliance
Lead full-cycle recruitment efforts, including sourcing, interviewing, and onboarding
Serve as a point of contact for employees regarding HR policies, procedures, and concerns
Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local labor laws and company policies
Manage employee performance, coaching, and disciplinary processes
Maintain accurate employee records and HR documentation
Partner with leadership to support workforce planning and organizational goals
Coordinate and support training and development initiatives
Monitor attendance, turnover, and other HR metrics to identify trends and improvements
Foster a positive workplace culture and promote employee engagement
