Requirements

  • Education: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited school is required.
  • Experience: A minimum of three years of human resources management experience is required.
  • Regulatory Approval: This position requires approval from the Department of Labor.

Responsibilities

  • Talent Acquisition & Creative Recruitment You will be the face of our employer brand. Your goal is to bring in high-quality staff to support the Job Corps mission by utilizing creative recruitment strategies.
  • Maintain vacancy and turnover rates at or below Center standards.
  • Fill staff vacancies in a timely manner to ensure operations never miss a beat.
  • Conduct annual wage and salary surveys to ensure we attract and retain the best talent.
  • Staff Development & Motivation You will oversee the growth of our team, ensuring they are motivated, empowered, and held accountable for producing quality work.
  • Oversee all staff training activities, including developing, coordinating, and administering the Center Staff Training Plan.
  • Ensure the early or on-time completion of staff evaluations.
  • Administer merit, incentive, and bonus programs to recognize staff accomplishments.
  • The Guardian of Compliance & Equity You will ensure our center remains a fair, inclusive, and safe place to work and learn.
  • Monitor employment practices to ensure strict regulatory compliance.
  • Write and implement Center Veteran and Affirmative Action Plans annually.
  • Investigate and resolve EEO inquiries and staff complaints in accordance with Company policies.
  • Unique to this role: Function as the Student EEO Officer, ensuring students are also treated with respect and fairness.
  • Community & Operational Impact Your influence extends beyond the office door.
  • Develop beneficial linkages and partnerships within the community to support operations and promote a positive image of Job Corps.
  • Provide high-quality supervision and management for the student population when required, positively influencing student behavior.
  • Data Integrity & Administration
  • Oversee the collection and maintenance of personnel data for HRIS and reporting purposes.
  • Administer fringe benefit programs, including health insurance, retirement plans, and the 401(k) program.
  • Ensure strict confidentiality of sensitive information and follow integrity guidelines to prevent data manipulation.
