About The Position

An HR Internship specialist manages the end-to-end lifecycle of interns, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management. They bridge the gap between HR goals and student development by creating meaningful projects, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and maintaining relationships with educational institutions

Requirements

  • Experience working with college students or internships
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in internship program management
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in student services or program coordination
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations for internship programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with potential internship providers
  • Coordinate and manage the internship application and selection process
  • Provide support to interns during their internship, including conducting orientations and arranging housing and transportation
  • Organize and lead workshops and events for interns, such as networking events and skill-building sessions
  • Create and maintain internship databases, program materials, and evaluation processes
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Provide regular reports to stakeholders on the progress and success of the internship program
