About The Position

An HR Internship specialist manages the end-to-end lifecycle of interns, including recruitment, onboarding, training, and performance management . They bridge the gap between HR goals and student development by creating meaningful projects, ensuring compliance with labor laws, and maintaining relationships with educational institutions

Requirements

  • Experience working with college students or internships
  • Knowledge of current trends and best practices in internship program management
  • Experience with data analysis and reporting
  • Bachelor's degree in education, human resources, or a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience in student services or program coordination
  • Excellent organizational and project management skills
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and manage multiple tasks
  • Familiarity with relevant laws and regulations for internship programs
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Google Suite

Responsibilities

  • Develop and maintain partnerships with potential internship providers
  • Coordinate and manage the internship application and selection process
  • Provide support to interns during their internship, including conducting orientations and arranging housing and transportation
  • Organize and lead workshops and events for interns, such as networking events and skill-building sessions
  • Create and maintain internship databases, program materials, and evaluation processes
  • Ensure compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and accreditation standards
  • Provide regular reports to stakeholders on the progress and success of the internship program
