The Human Resources Intern will assist the team with a wide range of projects related to recruiting, HRIS, compensation, and learning and development. Requirements

  • Currently pursuing a Bachelor's Degree (Junior or Senior standing) or higher, majoring in Human Resources, Labor Relations, Business, or a related field.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to build relationships across all levels of the organization.
  • Ability to respond effectively to sensitive inquiries or complaints in a timely and professional manner.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proactive approach with a demonstrated ability to take initiative.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support in partnership with corporate Compensation, line management, and HR management on job descriptions, job design, and internal equity-related issues.
  • Research, compile, and analyze data for special personnel projects and reports.
  • Learn the process and tools for managing employee performance and development.
  • Assist in the research, updating, and creation of HR policies and procedures.
  • Assist in the creation and updating of records in Workday, including creating job profiles, requisitions, org profiles, and employee changes.
  • Participate in working groups including, but not limited to, engagement, welfare insurance, and others.
  • Proactively seek opportunities to learn, improve processes, and contribute to HR projects beyond assigned tasks.
