Are you looking for an internship to jumpstart your career? If so, you have come to the right place! SB Energy has exciting internship opportunities. We are currently searching for students or alumni interested in gaining hands-on experience at a fast-paced and innovative renewable energy company. Our mission is to provide flexible renewable energy at scale, accelerating the global energy transition and benefiting our planet, customers, communities, and people. Our internships have a specific focus, but often get broader exposure to SB Energy's business, gaining insight into different areas of the company and the renewable energy industry. This internship will help you acquire marketable HR skills by participating in key HR initiatives and live Projects that will impact employee engagement, employer branding, recruiting, culture, and overall employer value proposition. You will gain broad experience in Human Resources and should be prepared to enter a fast-paced, collaborative work environment.

Requirements

  • Pursuing/received Bachelors, Associate, or Master's degree in human resources, communications, or related degree.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.
  • Strong verbal, written, interpersonal and professional communication skills.
  • Results-driven and detail oriented, prioritizing accuracy, thoroughness, and timeliness.
  • Ability to keep to deadlines while demonstrating empathy to team members and stakeholders.
  • Demonstrated ability to work in a team environment.
  • Passion for our industry and working with people.

Responsibilities

  • Support implementation of a vendor management system (VMS): assist with vendor data collection, system configuration tests, user acceptance testing, and documentation.
  • Help run project tasks and timelines: track milestones, prepare status updates, and coordinate meetings with internal stakeholders and vendors.
  • Assist with vendor onboarding and compliance: gather contracts, verify vendor credentials, and maintain vendor records in the VMS.
  • Create and maintain process documentation, SOPs, and training materials for VMS users.
  • Provide day-to-day administrative support to the Benefits Administrator: prepare enrollment materials, process paperwork, and respond to basic employee benefits inquiries.
  • Support recruiting activities: post job ads, screen resumes, schedule interviews, and help coordinate candidate communications.
  • Assist the HR Manager with general HR tasks: file maintenance, HRIS data updates, reporting, and special projects as needed.
