About The Position

The Human Resources Generalist will provide a broad-range of Human Resources expertise and hands-on administration in specific HR functional areas. Responsibilities:

Requirements

  • 3+ years of Human Resources experience.
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or related field.
  • Solid understanding of general human resources benefits, policies, and procedures.
  • Experience in HRIS system, preferably ADP.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
  • Critical thinker, problem solver, follow-through, drive for results, attention to detail, and a commitment to continuous improvement while maintaining a strong sense of urgency and customer focus.
  • Ability to think independently and execute sound judgment in making decisions.
  • Excellent prioritization and organizational skills.
  • Ability to calmly manage complex customer service situations.
  • Ability to provide coaching and guidance to foster effective relationships.
  • Strong presentation and communication skills, both verbal and written required.

Nice To Haves

  • 1+ years’ experience managing leaves of absence preferred.
  • Human Resources certification preferred.
  • Experience using and/or administering timekeeping systems (e.g. Kronos, UKG, Workday) preferred.
  • Familiarity with FMLA, ADA, PWFA, and other related state and federal laws strongly preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Responds to and resolve employee questions.
  • Drive offboarding conversations to ensure optimal employee experience and compliance.
  • Manages employee data in core HR systems and address data trends and audits
  • Recommends improvements and execute changes to make HR processes more efficient and accurate.
  • Provides expertise and interpretation on the company’s policies and benefits.
  • Documents and streamlines core processes to drive efficiency.
  • Understands HR policies and procedures, current state, local and federal regulations, and corporate objectives and provides guidance and education to employees and managers.
  • Conducts exit interviews and all procedural tasks for terminated employees within respective business units.
  • Miscellaneous HR projects as needed.
