This position provides operational support across multiple HR functions, including employee relations, recruitment, onboarding, performance management, compliance, and HRIS administration. This role partners with leadership and employees to ensure effective human resources practices that support organizational goals, employee engagement, and regulatory compliance. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree required in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field. May substitute five years of experience in lieu of a degree
  • Must have a valid driver's license and automotive insurance.
  • Must provide proof of insurance throughout the course of employment.
  • Background check required.

  • PHR certification is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Provide guidance and support to employees and managers on HR policies, procedures, workplace practices, and employee relations matters, including coaching, documenting concerns, and partnering with leadership to resolve workplace issues.
  • Support recruitment activities, including job postings, candidate screening, interviewing coordination, and onboarding processes.
  • Manage the administration and adherence to Human Resource policies, procedures, practices, various aspects of employee benefit administration, vendor relationships, and ACA compliance, which includes conducting audits, performing related paperwork, and/or database entries.
  • Support the annual benefit renewal process by evaluating plan providers, plan design, and plan costs. Offer recommendations to leadership on areas for efficiency and improvement.
  • Oversee the COBRA administration process.
  • Support performance management processes, including performance review cycles, employee development planning, and coaching managers on feedback conversations.
  • Maintain accurate employee records and ensure HR documentation complies with organizational policies and legal requirements.
  • Assist with HRIS administration, including employee data entry, reporting, and troubleshooting basic system issues, while conducting audits of HR records and processes to ensure accuracy and compliance with employment laws and organizational standards.
  • Assist with other HR processes, which may include compensation and wage administration, payroll, reporting and analytics, leave administration, research, adherence to federal and state employment laws, HRIS maintenance, new hire orientation, and database entries.
  • Follows all agency safety policies and guidelines. Actively participates with supervisor and team members to address identified safety concerns.
