About The Position

Manage, develop, and execute various HR initiatives aimed at improving HR programs, processes and enhancing the employee experience. Align human resource programs to support long-term company goals and comply with applicable laws and regulations. Work closely with HR leadership and HR team to develop, implement, and evaluate ongoing HR policies, programs, functions, and activities to attract and retain top talent.   On any given day, you'll: Provide insights and recommendations on HR initiatives, in collaboration with HR leadership, to develop and implement HR strategies that align with long-term business goals. Lead and participate in high-impact HR projects and initiatives aimed at improving the employee experience and organizational effectiveness. Work closely with HR team members, leaders, and other stakeholders to gather requirements, provide updates, and ensure project alignment with organizational goals. Develop and execute change management and communication plans to support the successful implementation of HR initiatives to support organizational transformation. Assist in the development, implementation, facilitation, and communication of various HR programs, including new employee orientation, performance reviews, succession planning, employee recognition and engagement. Identify and implement strategies to improve employee, retention, performance, and engagement. Evaluate the effectiveness of HR programs and make recommendations for improvements based on data analysis and feedback. Assist in developing strategies to attract and retain top talent and build a diverse workforce. Develop, update, and communicate HR policies and procedures to ensure compliance with legal standards and alignment with company goals. Foster a positive work environment through innovative employee engagement initiatives and programs. Assist with conducting regular employee surveys and analyse feedback to drive improvements. Utilize HR data and metrics to inform decision making, create and present reports to leadership, analyse trends to improve talent attraction and retention programs, suggest new HR initiatives and communicate updates on HR trends, initiatives, and project progress. Lead the research, development, drafting, publication, and distribution of the employee handbook. Identify opportunities for process improvements within HR functions and recommend solutions to enhance efficiency and effectiveness. Ensure compliance with all federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations. Stay updated on HR best practices and legal requirements. Maintain knowledge of trends, best practices, regulatory changes, and new technologies in human resources, talent management, and employment law. Maintain an effective level of business acumen regarding the company's financial position, business objectives, culture, and competition. May assist with talent acquisition, employee relations and other duties as needed.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in HR or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of HR principles and practices.
  • Thorough knowledge of employment-related laws and regulations.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to compose and present comprehensive reports.
  • Proficiency in HRIS and other HR software.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with confidentiality and professionalism.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
  • Proven leadership and project management skills.
  • Excellent time management skills with a proven ability to meet deadlines.

Nice To Haves

  • SHRM Certified Professional (SHRM-CP) or SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) credential preferred.
