Division/Program Summary: The Bureau of Human Resources and Labor Relations within the NYC Department of Health and Mental Hygiene provides effective services in support of the values, vision and mission of the agency. We attract, hire, and develop staff to provide an array of public and mental health services, as well as develop and manage Human Resource Information Systems to better streamline our transactional and reporting capabilities. Position Summary: The HR Generalist supports various HR functions including contracts, policy compliance, classification, recruitment, and emergency preparations. The HR Generalist will serve as a key partner to management and a trusted source to staff by delivering effective HR solutions that support agency goals.
