Requirements

  • Knowledge of data analysis and developing solutions for continuous improvement.
  • Strong working knowledge of technology and HRIS products.
  • Ability to develop and maintain effective working relationships with others.
  • Ability to handle sensitive information with respect to individual and corporate confidentiality.
  • Provides exceptional customer service.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, strong detail orientation and multitasking skills required.
  • Working knowledge of computers including the Microsoft suite of products.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% and overnight as needed.
  • Bachelor’s degree in human resources or similar discipline preferred. Equivalent experience accepted.
  • Minimum three years of Human Resources experience required.
  • Minimum one-year HRIS experience required, UKG preferred.
  • Must be able to communicate (speak, read, comprehend, write in English).
  • Must be able to sit for long periods along with walking, standing, climbing stairs, reaching pushing, pulling, leaning and twisting.
  • Able to lift up to 30 lbs. in accordance with Western States’ Lifting Safe Work Practice to include amount and approach.
  • Must be able to meet all safety requirements for applicable safety policies.

Nice To Haves

  • Payroll experience a plus.
  • Current PHR/SPHR or SHRM-CP/SCP preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Validates new hires and transfers in the HRIS ensuring accuracy of data.
  • Validates manager requests for transfers, promotions, and employee changes within UKG, ensuring accurate coding.
  • Processes manager requests for org chart changes (i.e. employees moving in or between teams).
  • Oversees and maintains optimal function of HRIS, which may include, development, maintenance, customization, upgrade and implementation of applications, systems and modules.
  • Creates and updates reports on an ongoing and as requested basis to assist the HR team and/or leaders with providing information and tools to actively manage the business.
  • Collaborates with HR team to develop efficient workflows, set up business rules, and assist with system needs.
  • Creates and updates HR Dashboards with strategic metrics designed to aid in business decisions that drive the people strategy.
  • Researches, understands, and manages all systems releases. Meets with leader to determine application of updates. Creates training guides as applicable and meets with affected individuals to train in enhancements/changes.
  • Provides technical support, troubleshooting and guidance to HRIS users.
  • Assists with Configuration, Implementation and Integration of UKG with other platforms as needed.
  • Maintains an exceptionally high level of confidentiality in all aspects of the position daily.
  • Assists Employees with HR and company policies and procedures.
  • Maintains and updates HR processes and RoCK docs as needed.
  • Adheres to all customer care standards.
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
