About The Position

This position will improve DEQ’s ability to complete its mission by helping plan, implement and maintain solutions to make DEQ operations more efficient and effective. The business analyst represents business units on technology projects in the agency by performing business process reengineering, requirements development, testing and implementation activities along with post-production support. Additionally, this position will be involved in developing technical solutions using agency-approved tools.
This position will support DEQ’s HCM, ERP, and EPM applications which are based on Oracle Fusion. The position will recommend and implement system improvements, provide support for the application administrators, and analyze data and create reports.
Please note this position follows a hybrid work schedule to include both in-office and telework. Candidates must be able to work from the assigned work location in Virginia.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with HRIS or Finance ERP systems
• Experience with Oracle Fusion HCM and/or ERP
• Knowledge of Commonwealth Finance and HR policies and procedures
• Knowledge of Cardinal, eVA
