Handling general inquiries from employees and leaders regarding HR policies. Ensures compliance with federal, state and local laws and regulations. Participates in performance improvement and continuous quality improvement (CQI) activities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Human Resources preferred.
  • At least two (2) year experience in Human Resources in a hospital setting.
  • Knowledge of relevant federal, state and local registration relating to Human Resources, i.e. Title VII of the Civil Rights Act of 1964, Affirmative Action, ADA, FMLA.

Responsibilities

  • Develops and maintains a list of job descriptions for the facility
  • Enters reviews into the HRIS system.
  • Process paperwork for final checks as needed for terminations
  • Maintains thorough documentation
  • Assumes the responsibility for successfully complying with federal, state and local employment laws, immigration legislation and affirmative action goals.
