About The Position

Provides high level administrative support for the Human Resources Office. Primary responsibilities include administration of the new hire, transfer, promotion and termination workflow process. The HR Coordinator plays a key role in supporting the Human Resources team by delivering administrative support services that enable effective operations and a positive employee experience. Under general supervision, this position performs a wide variety of administrative assignments which are confidential in nature. Greets customers, resolves problems and customer service inquiries within scope of authority, screens and routes call to appropriate individuals, takes and delivers messages. Composes correspondence and other documentation requiring knowledge of the policies and procedures of the Human Resources Department. Creates, edits and processes memoranda, reports and other materials. Maintains personnel files in a timely, confidential and professional manner. Ensures all related paperwork is updated into electronic file database in a timely manner and in compliance with the Pueblo policy, procedures and guidelines. Utilizes the Pueblo’s computer system to input, access, retrieve and review confidential data. Provide employment verification responses for outside requestors in a timely basis. Provides assistance to portions of HR sponsored programs, such as Employee Recognition and Rewardsetc. Ensures all personal information entered into the Self-Service by team members are audited and formatted appropriately prior to final upload into the HRIS. Sorts, screens, and distributes incoming and outgoing mail Prepares photocopies and facsimiles and operates a variety of office equipment. Establishes, maintains, processes, and updates files, records, certificates, and/or other documents. Orders, stocks, and distributes office supplies. Performs other duties as assigned or required. Punctual and regular attendance is an essential responsibility for all team members. Team members are expected to report to work based upon the assigned schedule each day in accordance with the Attendance Policy for Pueblo of Sandia. Requirements

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Office software including Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
  • High School Diploma, GED certification or equivalent
  • Three (3) years progressively responsible secretarial/clerical, administrative assistant level experience.
  • Must be able to successfully pass a stringent background investigation.
  • Will require a pre-employment and random drug screening.
