About The Position

Under the direction of the AVP of HR and SVP of HR and Training, the HR Coordinator acts as a liaison for employee matters. The HR Coordinator works to enhance and improve the satisfaction and engagement of all employees by ensuring that concerns are addressed and promptly resolved in compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies. This position carries out responsibilities in the following functional areas: employee relations, performance management, pre-boarding, onboarding, employee training and development, policy implementation, recruitment/employment, payroll, affirmative action and employment law compliance.

Requirements

  • Associate’s degree in human resources or related field and three to five years’ HR or recruitment experience
  • An equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Driver’s License

Responsibilities

  • Develops, facilitates, and implements all phases of the recruitment and hiring process.
  • Enter data into HRIS including leave of absence, data corrections, payments, new hires, terminations, employee data changes, etc.
  • Acts as a backup for preparation and processing of payroll.
  • Enhance and improve the satisfaction and engagement of all employees by ensuring that concerns are addressed and promptly resolved in compliance with legal requirements and organizational policies.
