Requirements

  • Associate Degree in Business or HR or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of Administration or Human Resource experience

Nice To Haves

  • Professional HR Certification PHR or SHRM-CP
  • Experiences with HR databases/HRIS systems/Applicant Tracking System

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and organize the Human Resources group ticketing system
  • Assist with the onboarding process, including preparing offer letters and initiating pre-employment background checks.
  • Process I-9 forms and complete E-Verify submissions.
  • Perform basic audits of HRIS data to ensure accuracy.
  • Coordinate with other departments (Payroll, Benefits, IT, etc.) to support new hire setup.
  • Process routine employee personnel changes under guidance.
  • Support termination processing and updating records.
  • Respond to basic HR inquiries and route complex questions as appropriate.
  • Perform clerical duties such as copying, scanning, filing, and document preparation.
  • Create and maintain complete and accurate employee files.
  • Provide customer service support by addressing employee HR questions.
  • Answer incoming calls and assist or escalate as needed.
  • Assist with HR sponsored activities at the Home Office.
  • Complete employment verification requests.
  • Sort and scan incoming mail and deliver to appropriate recipients.
  • Assist with ad-hoc HR projects as needed.
