About The Position

The HR Business Partner at our West Union, SC manufacturing plant will manage all aspects of an employee's life cycle, from hiring to exit, and support people strategies that help the organization meet its goals. They act as a liaison between employees and management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in HR, Business, or a related field
  • 5+ years hands-on HR experience in a manufacturing environment (or similar environment)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, ethics and cultural awareness.
  • Advanced aptitude for problem-solving and thorough knowledge of HR procedures and policies.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining confidentiality.
  • Understanding of compensation and benefits administration.
  • Outstanding knowledge of MS Office; HRIS systems (e.g. Workday) will be a plus

Nice To Haves

  • Data‑driven mindset with experience analyzing turnover, absenteeism, and labor trends
  • Lean, Six Sigma, or change management experience a plus

Responsibilities

  • Promote HR programs and consistent application of policies and procedures.
  • Hiring: Recruiting, interviewing, and hiring qualified candidates
  • Training: Administering new hire orientation, employee recognition programs and HR policy training
  • Compensation: Assisting with payroll, administering benefits for off-shifts, and ensuring employees are compensated accurately
  • Policies: Developing and initiating HR policies, and ensuring the company complies with employment laws and regulations
  • Employee support: Addressing employee questions and issues, and monitoring employee morale and company culture
  • Performance: Assisting with performance evaluations and performance issues by partnering with supervisors and managers
  • Communication: Creating and distributing internal communications, and communicating complex benefits information to employees
  • Compliance: Reviewing, tracking, and documenting compliance with training, continuing education, and work assessments and conducting complex employee investigations
  • Relationships: Fostering and maintaining positive relationships with employees, vendors, and stakeholder
  • Data: Gather and analyze data with useful HR metrics, like time to hire and employee turnover rates.
