Your role at a glance The HR Business Partner is both a strategic and hands on role that provides HR support to the assigned business groups by embedding corporate HR strategy into day-to-day work and providing professional HR guidance with the objective of driving HR functional excellence and process improvement. Regular, predictable attendance is essential for satisfactory performance.

Requirements

  • Acting as a commercially focused business partner who is a specialist in people relationship management
  • Working at senior level within the business in international / intercultural HR environments
  • "Can to approach" combined with the willingness to work in a broad spectrum from conceptional and strategic think and work to operational fixing things at the company level
  • Comfortable with making difficult and/or important decisions
  • Coaching and development skills
  • Analytical skills and good presentation skills
  • Professional can do attitude that is based on strong set of personal values
  • Ideally proven HR track record in Tech or IT industry
  • English and another European language as must
  • High resilience and personal balance
  • Proven change agent attitude and working in a complex environment
  • Good command of standard HR IT platforms (ideally SAP SF and/or Workday)
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, Visio, Power Point and Outlook; other systems skills a plus.
  • Willingness to travel, max. 10%
  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, HR management, or related field or equivalent work and/or education required.
  • Minimum 6 years of relevant Human Resources experience, with minimum of 4 years in a generalist, or business partner capacity
  • Regular, predictable attendance is essential for satisfactory performance.

Nice To Haves

  • SPHR or SHRM certification preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Understand business goals and recommend new approaches and procedures to effect continuous improvements in business objectives, productivity, and development of HR within the company
  • Advise and work along our Global growth plan across the defined internal customers within the defined region and remits
  • Coach and train line managers in their day-to-day leadership tasks
  • Take ownership of HR cases and other areas where HR expertise is required to help to navigate through change and growth situation
  • Guide managers on the right tools and access to advice needed for effective management of the performance of their people
  • Advise on people development within existing and new policies and procedures
  • Align between business and HR on compensation and Benchmarking
  • Be available as a source of advice for managers to assist with employee challenges or concerns
  • Act as the employment law expert and provide timely advice on matters
  • Act as a mediation or escalation point if needed
  • Support creating and maintaining a culture of excellence, togetherness along the NTT values which is clearly visible through the outputs of the team
  • Contribute to projects for the wider NTT HR team
  • Lead and contribute to initiatives to improve competence and capability of talent across the organization
  • Closely work with the entire HR team to find customized solutions
  • Support the Recruiting processes where required
  • Interact with relevant institutions
  • Performs other duties as assigned.
  • Be the change-lead to establish the new ways of working for key HR processes within the function while ensuring consistency, by being connected within the HR community.
  • Settling talent in new roles alongside business managers
