The HR team is excited to add members to the group that will be able to help support the 1100+ employees and contractors currently running operations in the manufacturing facility. As the HR Business Partner specifically support HR Operations in Senatobia, you will have the opportunity to oversee and supervise day-to-day HR transactions for several assigned service lines (largely focused around supporting the Contingent/Contractor workforce), while also managing complex and escalated HR tasks. Each day, you will ensure a high-quality customer experience by committing to complete, accurate and timely completion of HR transactions. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting the globally set standards for HR operations and ensuring that the respective business processes adhere to the local legal and regulatory requirements. Candidates for this role will bring in an extensive background in Employee Relations, HR Operations (including payroll, HCM, benefits support experience), and the ability to build and develop an HR team. Candidates must be able to work an onsite schedule (first shift / standard business hours) in our Senatobia, MS manufacturing facility (#LI-Onsite).

Requirements

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or other related fields Required
  • 8+ Years of Progressive HR Experience dedicated to HR Operations, HRIS Management or HR Generalist Roles, ideally in a manufacturing / plant / distribution center environment.
  • Ability to manage Contractor Workforce and related aspects of the relationship between ABB and Staffing Agencies.
  • Candidates must be authorized to work for ABB in the US.

Responsibilities

  • Ensuring an effective overall HR contribution and value-add to the business in partnership with the functions and Shared Services.
  • Supporting the business and the execution of HR processes involved across the end-to-end employee lifecycle by determining and delivering the best approach in the area of responsibility and executing the HR priorities while adding value to the business.
  • Partnering with respective managers to develop and implement people strategies.
  • Facilitating change management initiatives and driving behavior change & continuous improvement across the respective business area / area of responsibility.
