The HR Business Analyst is responsible for maintaining the integrity of SAP's Organizational Management (OM) and Personnel Administration (PA) modules by performing data corrections and supporting process improvements based on system functionality. This role plays a key part in enhancing HR operations by analyzing workflows, recommending business process enhancements, and conducting system testing to ensure alignment with established goals. The analyst develops specifications for tier 1 University-wide reports, executes data pulls, and collaborates with the BUHR Analytics team to ensure consistent reporting, timely identification and resolution of data problems, and reporting optimization through automation. Additional responsibilities include maintaining the HR website, conducting security reviews to ensure appropriate access to HR data across university systems, and participating in the administration of the BU Identity Management (BUID) process to ensure accurate issuance of staff and faculty identification numbers
