RiVidium Inc. (dba TripleCyber) is seeking a HR Benefits Specialist. Responsibilities for this position shall include, but are not limited to: Research regulatory federal guidance, regulations, policy and processes related to Benefits processes (e.g., identifying supporting documentation for initial opportunity to enroll, qualifying life events, regulations for retirement, flexible spending accounts, etc.), to process benefits related forms/documents. Receive and process benefits related documents to include proper certification and completion of designation of beneficiary forms, benefit elections (FEGLI, FEHB, and TSP), setting effective dates and providing communications to employees of changes to their elections. If forms are not complete, coordinate with employees to gain lacking information and escalate to Federal staff, as needed. Answer general telephone and emails inquiries forwarded via the ECC line. Escalate complex questions to the Benefits Branch (BB) Specialists. Provide email responses to routine employee benefit inquiries, with professional and technically efficient responses, within one business day of receipt of inquiry. Validate Service Computation Date (SCD) calculations for leave in accordance with the OPM Guide to Processing Personnel Actions. Review, certify, input into HR Connect, mail employee copy, and route for filing, an average of 125 benefits forms biweekly, with an estimated average of 300 during open season window. Route forms for appropriate filing in accordance with Federal personnel recordkeeping instructions, using a manifest and the benefits processing workflow to track document distribution. Process an estimated average of 45 benefits-related Personnel Action Requests (PARs) and benefit forms each biweekly, verifying PAR data processing entries for separations (i.e., Retirement, Death, FEGLI, Standard Form (SF)-2809, SF-2810). Address and resolve SINQ errors from actions processed in HR CONNECT, NFC and employee generated EPP actions. Assist with the assembly of benefits material, unpack boxes, replenish stacks of forms, and make copies of new hires biweekly for NEO and post orientation benefits briefings, open season, wellness, and financial education and benefit fairs. (Materials includes health carrier brochures, benefits-related flyers, and designation of beneficiary forms and slide presentation packages.). Track new hire benefit form submission on Excel spreadsheet upon receipt of newforms and notify employees during the bi-week preceding the 60-day deadline for submission. On average a regular NEO includes 10-15 new hires, with large classes of more than 100 new hires occurring approximately 2 - 4 times a year.
