We are hiring a Human Resources Assistant for our Cincinnati office to provide administrative support to state and regional directors, act as human resources liaison, and conduct designated trainings.

Requirements

  • Ability to communicate effectively with staff, management, individuals served, guardians and other internal and external stakeholders.
  • Must be skilled at using all forms of technology and software while possessing the ability to learn new software.
  • Highly organized.
  • The ability to work independently or part of a team.
  • Ability to multitask.
  • High school diploma or equivalent required
  • Excellent computer skills
  • Valid driver’s license and auto insurance

Nice To Haves

  • associate degree preferred
  • HR Experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain files of individuals served including electronic or hard copy formats.
  • Assist with coordinating staff meetings.
  • Order office supplies.
  • Complete purchase orders.
  • Assist with or complete various reports.
  • Answer and direct phone calls
  • Process incoming and outgoing mail and packages.
  • Ensure office safety.
  • Maintain employee hard copy files.
  • Maintain HRIS platform.
  • Responsible for local recruiting efforts such as job fairs, community centers, posting employment flyers, etc.
  • Responsible for retention efforts such as focus groups, new employee follow along, etc.
  • Assist with coordinating and conducting employee annual trainings and staff meetings.
  • Collect new employee paperwork for processing and filing.
  • Maintain and communicate with management and Talent Acquisition Specialist current staffing needs.
  • Conduct safety drills and safety surveys.
  • Notify (HRIS system, phone calls, emails) and follow up with staff and management on expirations.
  • Other duties as assigned.
  • Comply with all standards to assure the health and safety of all individuals.
  • Report to work as scheduled.
