Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent required, with a degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field preferred.
  • 2 + years of administrative experience in a confidential setting required.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, required.
  • Demonstrated proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite applications, required.

Responsibilities

  • Provide administrative support for all human resources functions
  • Demonstrate excellent communication skills to interact with employees at all levels of the business, as well as outside vendors and community members
  • Maintain a high level of professionalism and confidentiality
  • Demonstrate a strong attention to detail and ability to manage multiple priorities effectively
  • Coordinate, review, and prepare for all ISO 9000 activities, and provide audit support
  • Serve as a first point of contact for general HR questions
  • Maintain and update employee files, HR databases, benefit records, training records and other confidential records
  • Serve as the document control coordinator and leads record retention efforts for the department
  • Assist with maintaining compliance with federal and state labor laws
  • Prepare HR documents such as checklists, grievance packets, onboarding packets, and policy updates
  • Schedule meetings, orientations, and training sessions
  • Assist with HR communications, memos, and departmental announcements
  • Attend WE Suggest meetings and facilitate responses to HR related inquiries
  • Manage the HR SharePoint site and HR shared drives to ensure all resources are up to date and streamlined
  • Support onboarding processes, including preparing new hire paperwork and assisting with new hire orientations as applicable
  • Help track employee and labor relations cases, investigations, and follow-ups where applicable
  • Administer the hourly Job Bidding process with oversite from the Labor Relations Manager
  • Provide support for employee engagement activities, recognition programs, and surveys
  • Provide employees with benefit enrollment information and support
  • Maintain office equipment and order appropriate supplies in accordance with applicable purchasing requirements
  • Lead the planning of employee events including, but not limited to, Service Award Banquets, and Company Holiday Parties
