About The Position

The Housing Project Manager serves as the project management liaison between the Fraternity Housing Corporation board, Housing National Officers, vendors and staff and is a key component in the success of projects through communication and proactive problem-solving. Created to make a difference in the lives of its members by developing the potential of each individual, ZTA's goal is to connect members through sisterhood and belonging. The organization's three entities - Fraternity, Foundation and Fraternity Housing Corporation - work together to provide a uniquely valuable collegiate experience for ZTA sisters across the country. ZTA's three entities are supported by International Office staff, headquartered in Carmel, Indiana. This team of 40-50 individuals collaborate across departments and are committed to the following core staff values: Community, Integrity, Adaptability, Excellence, Optimism, Teamwork, Communication

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree from an accredited institution in a relevant field and three to five years of relevant experience in fraternity and sorority life, residence life, construction management or related field
  • Independent, self-motivated and success-driven
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills required
  • Experience leading teams and managing people
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite

Nice To Haves

  • Zeta Tau Alpha membership and/or extensive knowledge of fraternities and sororities preferred

Responsibilities

  • Create and maintain comprehensive project documentation within the Buildium and ZetaBase platforms.
  • Oversee the Wish List process and support General/Facility Operations Advisor and Housing National Officers.
  • Monitor and report on progress of the housing projects to all required stakeholders.
  • Assist with development and implementation of resources and training for Vice President Facility Operations, General/Facility Operations Advisors and Housing National Officers.
  • Oversee Housing National Officer Academy logistics and implementation.
  • Help with financial projects, including cutting checks and overseeing FHC Housing Agreements.
  • Play a role in creating a compelling and inspired vision for Zeta Tau Alpha housing in collaboration with staff, boards, National Officers and volunteers.
  • Leverage ZTA’s database platforms (iMIS, ZetaBase, Z-Learning, Buildium and Concur) as an area for housing data collection, educational resources and opportunities.
  • Provide administrative support to board members and staff as needed.
  • Assume responsibilities as requested for the preparation of Convention and Summer Leadership Academy.
