GENERAL STATEMENT OF DUTIES: Responsible for assisting with leading and managing a comprehensive array of services and programs under the direction of the Associate Director. Division area oversees providing stabilizing and supportive services to individuals and families in the areas of emergency assistance, shelter, housing, case management and meeting basic needs. Duties include working with a diverse population including the homeless, veterans, victims of domestic violence and seniors in need. Job responsibilities include supervising program managers and directors in providing oversight with program promotion at local and state level, staff development and supervision, resource development, report and grant writing, program development and participation in agency administrative responsibilities, quality improvement and strategic planning. ESSENTIAL RESPONSIBILITIES: 1. Responsible for leading a divisional department that provides stabilizing and supportive services to individuals and families. 2. Provides supervision to a strong team of directors and program managers through staff development and program management around outcomes. 3. Assists with developing program resources through grant proposals, community investment and fundraising. 4. Assists with developing relationships with funding sources to promote communication and linkage to F&CS. 5. Participates in the planning and implementation of agency goals. 6. Maintains program budget and financial oversight for areas of responsibility. 7. Develops and implements program services to enhance program outcomes. 8. Promotes F&CS services and builds strong program standing in the community. 9. Develops effective community relationships to facilitate program growth and development. 10. Provides program leadership and supervision for all program employees. 11. Identifies and develops individual strengths to promote program performance. 12. Fulfills program and agency reporting requirements. 13. Attends agency staff meetings and staff development activities; attends all appropriate agency and community meetings; attends seminars and meetings as indicated by funding sources. 14. Complies with agency policies and procedures, COA regulations, federal and state requirements, and educational/certification/registry requirements. 15. Fulfills other duties as assigned.
